The HMW Bullwhip Whip

I specialize in all Red Hide Latigo, wood handled bullwhips & Hunting Whips What makes my whips unique is I make an American style all cowhide whip, that's constructed akin to the high-end Australian kangaroo whips. With two plaited bellies and bolsters, using all 5oz Red Hide/Latigo cowhide, they'll last for years. They crack loud and easy  giving  you the strength and durability of the high-end kangaroo whips, minus the expense.

The HMW Bullwhip is an 8 plait  wood handle bullwhip. The whip comes with an 8 inch or 12 inch hardwood handle, and is made using all latigo cowhide.   Double plaited belly construction with an 8 plait tapered strand overlay. Read more about them on my About  page

The HMW Hunting Whips have a 18 to 19 inch hardwood handle and a stitched keeper. The thong is 8plait and is made in the stock whip stile with fall and cracker.

Since my whips are made to order please allow two to three weeks to get it done.

All my whips are made from 100% Latigo cowhide. The color of this type of leather is oxblood to burgundy when it comes from the tannery, so although it can be dyed darker like mahogany or black it can’t be dyed any lighter colors such as saddle tan or light brown.
